The hotel room I stayed in was not fit to be rented out to anybody, with an odor, malfunctioning ac/heat, animal hair on sheets, dirty shower, and a mildew smell. The service, however, was friendly and helpful, with quick assistance on fixing issues. The location was not inviting, but the staff were accommodating despite the hotel needing renovations. The breakfast was disappointing, with missing items, but it was scheduled to last until 10 am. The facilities need improvement, reflecting the current state of the hotel.

The hotel was a total disappointment from the start, with unclean rooms and a disastrous pool area, making our stay unpleasant. The staff seemed unprepared and the location was not inviting at all. Despite some minor conveniences, the overall experience was far from satisfactory.

Upon arrival at Travelodge Lake George, the hotel seemed deserted and overgrown, but miraculously had both BBQ facilities available and was conveniently located near Quickway and various attractions. The rooms were spacious but had a noticeable moldy smell, and unfortunately, the TV was not working. The service was lacking with unclean and stinky rooms, no pool as advertised, and unhelpful staff who wouldn't inspect our concerns. The dining experience was a complete letdown with misleading pictures and messy breakfast until almost closing time. Despite these issues, the hotel had a Butter container for guests and provided easy access to local attractions and businesses, but cleanliness was a major problem throughout the stay.

If you're looking for an affordable place to stay in Lake George, this hotel might fit the bill. The rooms are in need of a deep clean but the staff tries their best to accommodate your needs, making it a decent choice for a budget traveler.
